1、Raw material selection

The PP resin used in polypropylene water supply pipe produced by extruder needs to choose the resin with melt flow rate in the range of 0.2 ~ 3G / 10min. It is suggested to use high-quality resin from large factories to ensure the quality of plastic products.

2Equipment selection of extruder production line

The extruder is used to extrude the resin. At present, the general single screw extruder is mainly used in the plastic products factory. Generally, we suggest that the screw structure of the extruder equipment should be equidistant gradual change type, with the length diameter ratio of 25 ~ 30:1 and the compression ratio of 2.5 ~ 4.5.

The pipe forming die structure used on the extruder head is mostly straight through structure, the straight part of the core bar is L(long)= (2-5) D (D is the diameter of the pipe. If the diameter value is small, the larger value will be taken. If the diameter of the pipe is large, the smaller value will be chosen). The inner diameter of the sizing sleeve d = D/ (1-shrinkage of the pipe) (the shrinkage rate of the pipe is generally 0.27% - 0.47%).

3Control range of process temperature on extruder equipment

The heating temperature of extruder barrel from feeding section to homogenizing section is 150 ~ 170 , 170 ~ 190 , 200 ~ 220 . The temperature control range of die at extruder head is 190 ~ 220 .
